Community Horse Stable Located Inside Koko Crater
Koko Crater Stables is a municipal equestrian facility owned by the City and County of Honolulu and operated by Horse Haven LLC.
Our stable sits on 8.5 acres inside Koko Crater. The property is located on the east side of Oahu in a neighborhood known as Hawaii Kai.

Sand Arena
The sand arena is of smaller size and made of a blend of sand and rubber, making it perfect for beginners. While not built to dressage arena specifications; dressage letters are posted.

Top Arena
Our top arena is hidden by a shelf of bougainvilleas and is made of grass and dirt. This large area offers excellent training and practice space, even if the shape is a bit wonky.

About Our Foundation
The Koko Crater Stables Community Education Foundation (KCSCEF) was founded in early 2017. This nonprofit was initially established to raise money for large repairs to this derelict city property. The foundation, while continuing to help restore Koko Crater Stables, is moving into future projects. Besides repair work and constant maintenance, the fund is creating and funding programs for the public.
KCSCEF is a nonprofit organization that functions as a separate entity from the boarding operation and riding lessons run by Horse Haven LLC. It is incorporated in the State of Hawaii and is a qualified tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Federal 81- 4998858.
