Horse Stabling, Riding Lessons and More

Koko Crater Stables in Honolulu, Hawaii is a horse riding center for Hunter/Jumper athletes, young riders, and more. We have been serving the community since 1960.

Our Services

Koko Crater Stables is one of Oahu's largest boarding facilities. It is open to the public. Our services include the cost of feed (timothy hay and alfalfa cubes), feed dropped twice daily, a 4 x 4 ft. independent tack locker, and stall mucked 6 days a week, once daily. $775 per month plus tax.

Riding Lessons

Adults and children may join our lesson program. We teach hunter/jumper, dressage, and English and Western pleasure riding. We offer private and group instruction to people from 10 to 100 years old. $70-80 per hour.

Competitive Coaching

Our trainers specialize in competitive equestrian athletes. Many of these clients wish to ride in college and beyond. Prices vary.

Keiki Camps

We offer three-hour day camps to children ages 6-10. $75 per child, drop-off permitted.

Quarantine Services

The State of Hawaii requires horses to be quarantined for 45-days upon arrival in the Hawaiian Islands. An independent stall isolated from other horses is required. $30 per day, includes all stabling services.

Special Events

Our property is available for Hawaii Horse Show Association (HHSA) horse shows and events. Each year, we host specialized events geared toward the public. Prices vary.

Horse Shows

Koko Crater Stables is one of several venues that host the Hawaii Horse Show Associations (HHSA) horse shows.

Keiki Day Camps

Our three-hour camps are the perfect blend of 'all-things-horse.' Camp students will learn about grooming, tacking, mucking, and riding. Our education programs focus on safety and proper care from which children can build on and become lifelong horse lovers.

Keiki Summer Camps

Similar to our one-day camps, we take advantage of the long summer days to teach over several days.
